Pastor Brian L. Thomas is a native son of the community he serves and is ultimately “just a servant” to it and its people.

 

After years of running, Pastor Thomas yielded to God, reaffirmed Jesus Christ as his personal savior, and ultimately accepted his divine call to preach God’s word in August of 2004 in Lawton, OK. To this end, Pastor Thomas was led back to his hometown, Goodwater, Alabama, and he reunited with his home church, Pleasant Home Baptist Church.

 

On December 11, 2005, Pastor Thomas delivered his first public sermon and was licensed to exercise his gift by his pastor, Apostle Thomas E. Bullock, Sr. Under this godly leadership, Pastor Thomas received the gift of the Holy Ghost and began to operate therein. Pastor Thomas remained faithful to God and on October 23, 2011, he was ordained by his pastor. Shortly afterward, Pastor Thomas was called to pastor Paradise Mission Full Gospel Worship Center on January 29, 2012. He has continued to lead God’s people through mentoring, teaching, preaching, and living the life he preaches about!

 

Pastor Thomas is the eldest son of Deacon and Sister Benjamin F. Thomas. He is the husband of his partner in ministry, Prophetess Shamika Thomas. They are blessed of God to have (4) adult children: Quinn, Xavier, Valencia, and Brianna; and one granddaughter: Juliana.
